Arsenal are reportedly happy to loan out young striker Eddie Nketiah for the duration of the next campaign.
The Gunners allegedly have a limited transfer budget this summer, leaving Unai Emery in a position where he may have to use some of the club's academy players over the next 12 months.
However, according to The Mirror, Emery is prepared to do without Nketiah, instead prioritising the 20-year-old's need for first-team football.
Nketiah regularly featured in matchday squads this season, although the attacker was only given two starts and six substitute outings in all competitions.
Emery could have potentially used the England Under-21 international in cup competitions, but it appears that a temporary move to a Championship club is the most likely outcome in the coming weeks.
