Arsenal have reportedly launched a £22.5m bid to sign Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard.
The 22-year-old has been linked with a move away from the Scottish champions following a prolific spell which has seen him score 51 goals over the past two seasons, including 28 last term.
The Mirror reports that Arsenal have identified Edouard as a possible replacement for Alexandre Lacazette and have made the first move towards bringing him to North London.
The Gunners are on the lookout for Lacazette alternatives amid ongoing speculation over his future at the Emirates Stadium, with Juventus thought to be interested.
Lacazette has publicly confirmed his desire to stay at Arsenal, but the club are understood to be considering his sale in order to help raise funds for other targets such as Houssem Aouar and Thomas Partey.
Arsenal's £22.5m approach for Edouard is understood to be spread out in installments over four years, but Celtic are keen for a larger sum to be paid up front.
Edouard has scored 49 goals in 84 league games for Celtic since joining from Toulouse.
