North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur will reportedly have to spend £20m if they wish to sign Djed Spence from Middlesbrough this summer.

The 21-year-old right-back has enjoyed an impressive 2021-22 campaign on loan with Nottingham Forest, scoring three goals and providing five assists in 37 appearances across all competitions.

Spence is set to return to Middlesbrough in the summer, but the Championship outfit are expected to entertain bids for the in-demand Englishman.

According to the Daily Star, via the Daily Express, Arsenal and Spurs are set to battle for Spence's signature, though both clubs will need to match Boro's £20m asking price if they wish to sign the London-born defender.

Manchester City and Bayern Munich are also believed to be keeping tabs on the right-back, who was called up to the England Under-21s squad for the first time this month.

Spence is under contract at the Riverside Stadium until the summer of 2024.
