Middlesbrough defender Djed Spence could be available for a fee of £12m during the summer transfer window.
Since departing Boro for Nottingham Forest on loan during the early weeks of the season, the right-back has started to live up to his potential.
The 21-year-old has made a total of 33 starts in all competitions, contributing three goals and four assists to add to his defensive work.
However, with his contract due to expire in 2023, Spence is said to be a target for a wide array of clubs, including Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.
According to the Evening Standard, the two North London outfits could be able to sign Spence for between £12m and £15m this summer.
Even if Boro earn a return to the Premier League, a new contract at the Riverside Stadium looks unlikely, leaving the North-East outfit with little choice but to cash in on the player's signature.
