Report: Arsenal refuse to pay Loic Remy wage demands

A report suggests that Queens Park Rangers striker Loic Remy's move to Arsenal has hit a snag as the Gunners are refusing to pay his £80,000-per-week wage depends.

Arsenal are reportedly unwilling to meet Queens Park Rangers striker Loic Remy's wage demands, putting his potential move to the Gunners in jeopardy.

Arsene Wenger had highlighted the 25-year-old as one of his main transfer targets for the summer following his impressive Premier League campaign with Newcastle United last season.

Despite Arsenal's willingness to pay the £10m asking price for the France international, the transfer could be scuppered by Remy's refusal to take a drop in his £80,000-per-week wages, reports The People.

The Gunners have already bolstered their attacking options for next season with the signing of Alexis Sanchez from Barcelona.
