Arsenal 'line up move for John Ruddy'

Arsenal are reportedly readying a bid for Norwich City keeper John Ruddy to provide competition for Wojciech Szczesny next season.

Arsenal are lining up a move to sign Norwich City keeper John Ruddy, according to a report.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger wants to add the England international to his squad to provide competition for Wojciech Szczesny following the departure of Lukasz Fabianski.

The Canaries will not be willing to part with the 27-year-old for less than £7m, but Wenger is determined to sign a keeper before the start of the season, reports The Mirror.

Ruddy missed out on being part of Roy Hodgson's England squad for the World Cup as Ben Foster and Fraser Forster were selected ahead of him.
