Arsenal begin talks with Queens Park Rangers over Julio Cesar?

Arsenal reportedly begin talks with Queens Park Rangers over the transfer of goalkeeper Julio Cesar.

Arsenal have reportedly begun talks with Queens Park Rangers over the signing of goalkeeper Julio Cesar.

The Gunners have been touted as a possible destination for the former Inter Milan shot-stopper, who has expressed a desire to stay in London.

Arsenal are willing to match Cesar's wages, which are believed to be £80,000 a week, on a two-year contract with the option of a third, but the Gunners are unwilling to offer more than £1m to QPR, according to Goal.com.

The R's are thought to be open to selling Cesar in order to alleviate their heavy wage bill.
