Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has reportedly decided to increase his offer for Liverpool striker Luis Suarez, making the Uruguayan his top transfer target.
The Gunners had an initial bid of £30m for Suarez rejected by Liverpool last week, with Chelsea and Real Madrid also consistently linked with a summer swoop.
According to The Mirror, Arsenal will return with an improved offer of around £35m this week and are increasingly confident that they can force through the Premier League's biggest transfer of the summer.
Suarez has been vocal in his intention to leave Anfield in the last month, with the Reds talisman insisting that his progress has suffered on Merseyside due to lack of Champions League football.
The 26-year-old scored 30 goals in all competitions last season, including a pair of Premier League hat-tricks.
