Arsenal have reportedly identified Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard as their primary transfer target during the summer window.
The 22-year-old enjoyed a prolific season with the Scottish Premiership champions during the 2019-20 campaign, registering 22 goals in 27 league outings for Neil Lennon's side.
Edouard has naturally been linked with a host of top European clubs following his performances for Celtic, and with question marks hanging over the heads of Arsenal forwards Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette, the Daily Record suggests that the Gunners could move for Edouard.
Arsenal are reportedly confident that captain Aubameyang will pen fresh terms, but the Gabon international is yet to extend his contract in North London, which is set to expire next summer.
Meanwhile, Lacazette is no longer a guaranteed starter in Mikel Arteta's side following the emergence of Eddie Nketiah, leading to suggestions that the Frenchman could be heading for the exit door at the Emirates Stadium.
Edouard already has four goals to show from four games this season, and the former Paris Saint-Germain attacker is contracted to Celtic until 2022.
