Real Madrid have reportedly made it clear to interested parties in Aurelien Tchouameni that there is no chance of the midfielder being allowed to leave the club.
The 23-year-old's excellent form for Monaco led to a scramble for his signature in the summer of 2022, and it was Real Madrid that won the race, with the Frenchman penning a six-year deal at Bernabeu.
Tchouameni made 50 appearances for Los Blancos during his first campaign at the club, but there was some speculation surrounding his future due to some lacklustre performances.
Liverpool are long-term admirers of the France international and are believed to have approached Real Madrid earlier this year to determine whether the midfielder could be available over the summer.
Jude Bellingham's arrival from Borussia Dortmund, coupled with new contracts for Luka Modric and Toni Kroos, also led to claims that Tchouameni could struggle for regular starts this term.

However, he has been a vital player for Carlo Ancelotti's side in 2023-24, making 14 appearances in all competitions, lining up at the base of the midfield.
Tchouameni has largely been part of a midfield three with Federico Valverde and Eduardo Camavinga, with Kroos also keeping his status as an important player.
Bellingham has been deployed further forward, meanwhile, and the England international has been in spectacular form this season, scoring 13 goals and registering three assists in 13 appearances.
A recent report claimed that Arsenal had made Tchouameni their leading target for next summer, viewing him as the perfect player to operate alongside Declan Rice in central midfield.

However, according to 90min, Real Madrid have 'no intention' of letting the ex-Monaco youngster leave, viewing him as an integral part of their plans both now and in the future.
The report claims that Los Blancos will open talks with Tchouameni over a new and improved contract next year, and the midfielder is believed to have no intention of seeking a transfer away.
The Frenchman was able to complete the full game against Barcelona in La Liga last weekend, helping Real Madrid record a 2-1 victory in El Clasico.
However, it was revealed after the match that he had suffered a fractured metatarsal, which could potentially rule him out for the remainder of 2023.
Tchouameni's absence is likely to lead to Camavinga being used at the base of the midfield, meaning that Modric is still expected to find it difficult to secure regular starts in the coming months.
