Arsenal reportedly harbour doubts over signing Sassuolo forward Gianluca Scamacca, as the Gunners weigh up potential attacking targets in the summer transfer window.

Arsenal reportedly have doubts over signing Sassuolo forward Gianluca Scamacca.

The Gunners are on the lookout for new striking options following the departures of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang - who joined Barcelona in January - and Lyon's new signing Alexandre Lacazette.

Gabriel Jesus has been linked with a move to North London, with a recent report suggesting that personal terms have already been agreed.

Mikel Arteta's side have also been credited with an interest in Scamacca, who is also a potential target for Paris Saint-Germain.

However, according to football.london, the Arsenal coaching staff have doubts about the Italian striker due to the contrasting styles of play in comparison to their number one target Jesus.

The report states that despite those doubts, Arsenal's technical director Edu is said to be a huge admirer of the 23-year-old.

Scamacca, who is currently on international duty, scored 16 goals in 36 Serie A appearances for Sassuolo last term.
