Arsenal are reportedly ready to improve their offer for Liverpool striker Luis Suarez as their search for a striker continues.
The Gunners are believed to be increasingly frustrated with their failure to secure a deal for Gonzalo Higuain, with Real Madrid so far unwilling to negotiate over a fee for the Argentine forward.
According to the Evening Standard, Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has turned his attention to Suarez, with Arsenal confident that they can persuade Liverpool to sell their prized asset this summer.
The 26-year-old welcomed interest from Arsenal in a radio interview earlier this week, declaring that at least two clubs are chasing his signature.
Suarez scored 30 goals in 44 appearances for the Reds last season.
