Liverpool striker Luis Suarez claims that two or three clubs are interested in signing him.

Luis Suarez has said that there are "two or three clubs" interested in signing him during the current transfer window.

The Liverpool striker, who is keen for a move away from Anfield, is due back at the club for pre-season training in 11 days.

"You never know what's going to happen. A phone call could change my plans," BBC Sport quotes the 26-year-old as saying

"I am talking with my agent and I always have my phone with me in case anything develops.

"There are several options. There are two or three interested clubs and Liverpool know about this."

Liverpool paid £22.7m for the Uruguayan in 2011.
