Arsenal officially confirm that Santi Cazorla and Jack Wilshere are being released from their contracts.

Arsenal have confirmed that Santi Cazorla and Jack Wilshere will leave the club when their contracts expire tomorrow.

The duo appeared on an official list of players who will not be receiving new deals, along with Per Mertesacker, who will lead the Gunners' youth academy next season.

"To all the players leaving us, we thank them all for their contributions to the club and wish them the best of health and success in their futures," read a statement posted on the club's website.

"To the players joining and signing new contracts, we look forward to their continued development with us in the years to come."

Wilshere's future has been the subject of intense speculation of late, with a number of Premier League clubs including Everton and West Ham United said to be on the hunt for him, along with Italian giants Juventus.
