Arsenal and Manchester City have reportedly reignited their interest in West Bromwich Albion defender Jonny Evans.
During the summer, both clubs failed in attempts to sign the Northern Ireland international, but their ongoing problems in defence increased the likelihood of business during January.
Evans is currently part of a West Brom side who sit in the Premier League relegation zone but according to BBC Sport, both the Gunners and City remain keen on his signature.
The report claims that Arsenal may be prepared to include Mathieu Debuchy as part of any deal, with the Baggies allegedly holding an interest in the French international.
City would likely need to offer a straight fee, but manager Pep Guardiola may be willing to do so with Vincent Kompany continuing to experience ongoing fitness issues.
