Arsenal have announced that Stephan Lichtsteiner will join the club from Juventus on July 1.
Soon after Unai Emery was appointed as the new boss at the Emirates Stadium, it quickly emerged that the new Gunners boss was looking to bring in Lichtsteiner on a free transfer.
The Switzerland international has spent the last seven seasons in Turin, but the full-back will now link up with the Premier League outfit once his Juventus deal has expired at the end of the month.
Emery told the club's official website: "Stephan brings huge experience and leadership to our squad. He's a player with great quality with a very positive and determined attitude. Stephan will improve us on and off the pitch."
Lichtsteiner will leave Juventus having made 250 appearances for the Italian giants in all competitions.
