Agent Johnny Ogbah has claimed that a club from the Premier League is showing an interest in signing Villarreal youngster Samu Chukwueze.
The 19-year-old has been a part of the first team at the La Liga side since September, with four goals being scored from 12 outings in all competitions.
Villarreal are keen to extend the player's contract and insert a large release clause, but Chukwueze has been linked with Arsenal and his representative has acknowledged that there is interest from England.
Ogbah is quoted by CastellonInformation as saying: "Many clubs are interested in signing Samu, but we will have a clearer idea of it in the New Year.
"Of course Villarreal is interested in renewing his contract. A Premier League club has shown a lot of interest."
Chukwueze's contract is currently due to expire at the end of the season.
