Inter Milan are reportedly prepared to sell defender Achraf Hakimi during the summer transfer window.
The Italian giants edged out a number of teams to win the race for the wing-back, agreeing to pay Real Madrid a £35m fee for his signature last July.
However, while the 22-year-old has contributed six goals and three assists in Serie A this season, Inter may be forced to part ways with the Morocco international.
According to The Athletic, Inter have failed to pay the first installment of the deal which was agreed with Real due to their current financial issues.
The report adds that club officials may now be prepared to cash in on Hakimi in order to ensure that they fulfil their commitments with their Spanish counterparts.
Hakimi is allegedly open to a switch to the Premier League, something which would likely alert Chelsea and Arsenal.
