Real Madrid loanee Achraf Hakimi has said that he is "proud" to have been linked with a number of clubs as a result of his form with Borussia Dortmund.
The 21-year-old has spent the past two years at the Westfalenstadion, establishing himself as a key member of the starting XI under Lucien Favre en route to making 65 appearances across all competitions.
Hakimi's form this season has been particularly impressive, scoring seven goals and creating 10 more from full-back, prompting speculation that Madrid want to keep hold of him when his loan spell is over, although Los Blancos are bracing themselves for significant interest in his signature.
When asked about the speculation over his future, Hakimi told Cadena SER: "Who does not like it? I am proud of what I am doing.
"In June I will have to make a decision and it will be a great step for my career. In theory my contract ends in June and from there I have to return to Madrid.
"I have not yet had contact with Madrid on this matter, but I imagine that soon we will have some conversation to find out what is best for me."
In addition to Madrid and Dortmund, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus have all also been linked with a move for Hakimi when the transfer window reopens.
