AC Milan have reportedly emerged as contenders to sign wantaway Arsenal striker Robin van Persie.
The Netherlands international is expected to leave the Emirates this summer after claiming that he has no intentions of signing a new contract with the Gunners.
While the 28-year-old is believed to be amid a three-way battle between Manchester City, Juventus and Manchester United, it is understood that Milan are keen to sign Van Persie as Zlatan Ibrahimovic's replacement, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Ibrahimovic made the switch to Paris Saint-Germain this week, which leaves the Italian giants without a leading striker.
