Mesut Ozil returns to Arsenal's starting XI in one of two changes from last time out in the league, while Paul Clement also makes two Swansea City alterations.

Arsenal have Mesut Ozil back in their starting lineup for this afternoon's Premier League meeting with Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium.

The Germany international was forced to sit out the Gunners' last three games due to illness, but he has fully recovered in time to take the place of Francis Coquelin.

Gabriel Paulista also comes in from last time out in the league, replacing the injured Hector Bellerin in a rejigged backline, while Theo Walcott, Mohamed Elneny, Santi Cazorla, Per Mertesacker and Kieran Gibbs are all absent.

In terms of the home side, who have won three of their last five meetings with Arsenal, boss Paul Clement has made two changes for his first official top-flight game in charge.

Neil Taylor drops out after fracturing his cheekbone in training earlier this week, while Jay Fulton also makes way from the 2-1 win over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park a fortnight ago.

In their places come Stephen Kingsley and Kieran Dyer, meaning a start up front for Fernando Llorente despite talk of a move to league leaders Chelsea in recent days.

Swansea City: Fabianski; Naughton, Fernandez, Mawson, Kingsley; Ki, Sigurdsson, Cork; Dyer, Llorente, Routledge
Subs: Nordfeldt, Ranger, Van der Hoorn, Fer, Fulton, Borja, McBurnie

Arsenal: Cech; Koscielny, Mustafi, Gabriel, Monreal; Xhaka, Ramsey; Sanchez, Ozil, Iwobi, Giroud
Subs: Ospina, Maitland-Niles, Holding, Reine-Adelaide, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Lucas, Welbeck
