Result: Arsenal 3-0 West Bromwich Albion

Arsenal enjoy a fifth consecutive home win, triumphing over West Bromwich Albion.

Arsenal secured a 3-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion at the Emirates this afternoon.

In a first half dominated by the home side, captain Robin van Persie opened scoring after 21 minutes at close range with help from Theo Walcott, whose own shot had been saved by Ben Foster.

Van Persie later set up Thomas Vermaelen to give the Gunners a two-goal advantage going into half time.

The captain again laid the groundwork for his side's third goal, which Mikel Arteta struck from inside the box in the 73rd minute.
