Arsenal cautious over Jack Wilshere return despite recovery boost

Arsenal are wary over rushing Jack Wilshere back to the first team despite fitness progress being ahead of schedule.

Arsenal are unwilling to rush Jack Wilshere back to action after the midfielder suffered a long-term ankle injury, according to the Daily Mail.

The 19-year-old was initially ruled out for three months at the beginning of September after picking up the injury on England international duty.

Wilshere recently revealed that the recovery process was going well, and reports suggested that the playmaker could make an early return to the field.

Despite the welcome boost for Gunners fans, the club are reportedly not prepared to risk him, and he has not been given permission to remove his medical boot.
