England are reportedly considering handing a maiden senior call-up to Arsenal defender Myles Lewis-Skelly during the March internationals.

Arsenal defender Myles Lewis-Skelly is reportedly on the radar of England's senior plans ahead of the March internationals.

The 18-year-old put in another stellar performance for the Gunners as they defeated Premier League champions Manchester City 5-1 on Sunday afternoon.

Lewis-Skelly scored his first-ever goal for Arsenal against the Citizens before proceeding to mock City striker Erling Haaland with his trademark meditation celebration.

The youngster is quickly establishing himself as the first-choice option on the left side of a solid back four for Mikel Arteta's title chasers.

Arsenal are back in competitive action as they look to overturn a two-goal deficit on Wednesday night, when they face Newcastle United in the second leg of their EFL Cup semi-final.

Arsenal star Lewis-Skelly set for England call-up?

According to The Mirror, Lewis-Skelly is heading towards the next achievement at the beginning of his highly-promising career in senior football.

The report claims that the teenager is on the radar of England's senior plans, with Thomas Tuchel now in charge of the Three Lions until next summer.

It is understood that Lewis-Skelly could earn a call-up for his nation's World Cup qualifiers in March, when they will pit their wits against Albania and Latvia at Wembley.

However, there is a decision to make for Tuchel in regards to the speed of the left-back's progression to the top of the international game.

Lewis-Skelly is yet to even feature in an Under-21s contest for the Three Lions, and Arsenal are keen for the player to experience an appropriately-paced rise up the ranks.

Lewis-Skelly the latest of an unbothered generation

Following his impressive displays for Arsenal, a whole host of pressure has been placed onto the shoulders of Lewis-Skelly, who appears unfazed by the situation.

The 18-year-old has shown a little bit of over excitement at times, but the overall theme of his showings so far have been an exceptional comfortableness at the level.

Often the first in the Arsenal team to mock opposition players and supporters, Lewis-Skelly is the latest of a group of young English stars who seem unbothered by the spotlight.
