Arsene Wenger insists The Gunners are now "on the right track" to push forward in the League.

Arsene Wenger has insisted that Arsenal are now "on the right track" after a frustrating start to the season.

The Gunners lost key players during the transfer window and have taken just four points from their first four games of the season, including suffering a humiliating 8-2 defeat to Man Utd.

Wenger believes that a decent start to their Champions League campaign - a 1-1 draw away at Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday - has galvanised the squad to push harder.

"A draw was a fair result. It's a good point," he told reporters this morning. "Overall we showed great spirit at Dortmund. We feel we are on the right track. The spirit is strong. Let's get result after result and stick together."

The Frenchman described the defeat at Old Trafford as a "one-off", adding: "You have to consider that last year we were the best away side in the league. What is important is the points. But we want to play well. It's important we don't talk too much and just play."

Arsenal next travel to Blackburn for the early kick-off on Saturday.
