Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is reportedly on the verge of signing a new contract with the club until 2017.
The deal is said to have been on the table for the past month, but the Frenchman has delayed putting pen to paper as he prepares his side for a busy Christmas schedule.
However, the 64-year-old could extend his terms at the Emirates Stadium by the end of the year, according to The Mirror.
Assistants Steve Bould and Neil Banfield are also expected to prolong their stays with the Gunners.
Wenger has won three Premier League titles and four FA Cups with Arsenal since joining from Japanese side Nagoya Grampus Eight in 1996.
