Arsene Wenger criticises the referee and his side's finishing following Arsenal's loss away at Fulham.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has blamed his side's failure to convert their chances and the performance of referee Lee Probert for the 2-1 loss against Fulham this evening.

The Gunners led through Laurent Koscielny's first goal of the season, but late strikes from Steve Sidwell and Bobby Zamora stole all three points for the home side.

Visiting Arsenal also had Johan Djourou dismissed for two bookable offences, a decision that left Wenger angry.

"[The red card] was a joke," Wenger told Sky Sports News. "When Djourou got booked first they tried to get him a second yellow and the referee was naïve enough to give it. It should have been a foul to us.

"We missed many chances and had some bad decisions from the referee today. The two together made the difference."

Wenger's team are now fifth in the Premier League table.
