Arsenal forward Theo Walcott has claimed that he is relaxed over the prospect of signing a new contract at the Emirates.
Walcott signed a £90,000-a-week contract 18 months ago, but has been in tentative talks about a new deal with Arsene Wenger's side.
The England international is believed to be holding out for over £100,000 a week, but said that he was calm about the discussions.
The Guardian quotes Walcott as saying: "My agent has talked to the club, I enjoy playing for this club so I am just letting them crack on with things and I'll continue playing football.
"If it happens it happens. We'll just play the waiting game and see what happens but I'm sure it won't be long.
"It's not in my thought process at all. You don't want to dwell on it, you want to play well and if it happens it happens."
Walcott scored the opening goal for the Gunners as they beat Everton 3-1 on Saturday.
