Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud targets 20-goal haul this season

Olivier Giroud reveals that he wants to score between 15 and 20 goals for Arsenal in the upcoming season.

Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud is hopeful that he can score between 15 and 20 goals this season to help the Gunners succeed in the Premier League.

The Frenchman has found the back of the net 58 times in 105 starts since moving to the Emirates from Montpellier in 2012.

With competition from Danny Welbeck, Alexis Sanchez and Theo Walcott, the 28-year-old is determined to improve his goal tally in the 2015-16 campaign.

"I don't have a precise target, but I always want to improve, so I want to score more goals than last year," Giroud told the club's official website. "It would be nice to score at least 15 or 20 goals. My best record is 16 in the Premier League and I want to beat that.

"I have a team target to win one more trophy, a fourth one since I arrived here. I really want to win one more and why not the league this year?"

The Gunners are currently in Singapore to compete in the Barclays Asia Trophy as part of the team's pre-season schedule.
