Theo Walcott hopes that Spurs are brought back down to earth after Arsenal's 5-2 win at the Emirates Stadium.

Theo Walcott hopes that Tottenham Hotspur have been brought back down to earth after Arsenal's 5-2 win at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

The Gunners came from two-goals down to move to within seven points of their third-placed local rivals.

"The last few games we have played against them we have played particularly well and still managed to lose, but we showed great character and hopefully we've brought them back to earth slightly," Walcott told Sky Sports News.

"Recent results haven't gone great but our Premier League form has started to pick up."

Arsenal next face Liverpool at Anfield on Saturday in the league.
