Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has revealed that his side have a plan to keep Emmanuel Adebayor at bay this weekend.

The former Gunners striker goes into Sunday's North London derby with three goals in three games for Spurs, but Szczesny claims that they have something up their sleeves to stop him adding to that tally.

"Ade's a really great striker and we know how dangerous he is, but it is to our advantage that we know how to deal with him, I'm not going to say now because it will be our little secret," said Szczesny.

"He's a quality player and probably one of the best strikers I have ever trained with, so it will be very hard to keep him out but I'm confident I can do it.

"I would love to keep a clean sheet against him, but it's more important to keep a clean sheet for the team and get three points."

Arsenal can move up to seventh place with a win, while Spurs can claim sixth spot with a victory.
