Spotify founder Daniel Ek is reportedly serious about tabling a takeover bid for Arsenal.
The Gunners' current owners - KSE, manned by Stan Kroenke and son Josh Kroenke - assumed full control of the club in 2018 after initially purchasing a 9.9% stake in 2007.
However, the Americans have been heavily criticised by the club's supporters during their time at the club, even more so since the Gunners signed up for the European Super League before withdrawing from the project.
Spotify founder Ek - a boyhood Arsenal fan - posted on social media that he would be interested in buying the club, and according to The Telegraph, the 38-year-old's interest is genuine.
However, Josh Kroenke recently affirmed during a fans forum that KSE have no interest in walking away from Arsenal, despite the recent Super League debacle.
Gunners fans staged a mass protest against the Kroenkes' ownership before their defeat to Everton on Friday night, and similar demonstrations were also seen outside Old Trafford against Manchester United's owners, the Glazer family.
