Bacary Sagna will be out of action for three months with a broken leg, the French Football Federation have confirmed.
The Arsenal full-back suffered the injury during the second half of his side's 2-1 loss to Tottenham Hotspur yesterday afternoon.
The Gunners are yet to have their say on the the length of time that Sagna will be unavailable, although he is expected to be missing until at least the New Year.
Sagna, 27, has been a first-team regular since arriving at the Emirates Stadium in 2007 from Auxerre.
