Didier Deschamps will pick Abou Diaby for the France squad, according to reports.

Reports in France claim that Didier Deschamps is ready to ignore Arsene Wenger and name Abou Diaby in the French squad tomorrow.

The Frenchman limped out of the Gunners' 2-1 defeat to Chelsea on Saturday and has since been ruled out for at least three weeks with a thigh injury.

The Arsenal boss recently hit out at the French FA for picking the 26-year-old in the last France squad to face Finland and Belarus.

However, Deschamps looks likely to go against Wenger's plea and pick Diaby for France's clash with Spain on October 16.

Diaby had just recovered from a long spell on the sidelines.
