Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger will sign a new three-year contract with the club within 72 hours in a deal worth £8m per season, according to a report.

The Frenchman confirmed that he was staying with the club following their FA Cup triumph over Hull City on Saturday and the club are keen to tie him down to a new deal before the start of the World Cup.

The Gunners are ready to offer Wenger a three-year contract worth £8m per season and will also hand the 64-year-old a transfer budget of £100m to help the club compete with Manchester City in the Premier League next season, reports the Daily Mail.

Arsenal will also compete in the Champions League next season after finishing fourth in the Premier League table.
