Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has admitted that it is "an exciting time for the club" following the arrival of Unai Emery as their new head coach.
The Gunners brought in the ex-Sevilla and Paris Saint-Germain boss last week as a replacement for the long-serving Arsene Wenger, who stepped down at the end of the season.
Ramsey is now into the final year of his Emirates Stadium contract, but Emery reportedly intends to persuade the Welshman to agree fresh terms as one of his top priorities.
Asked if he is excited to work under Emery, Ramsey told reporters: "Of course. I haven't spoken to him at all yet, but I think it's an exciting time for the club. I can't wait to get back there now."
Ramsey also confirmed that he is feeling no long-term effects after rolling his ankle in Wales's goalless draw with Mexico earlier this week.
