Mathieu Debuchy hints at Arsenal exit

Arsenal defender Mathieu Debuchy suggests that he could leave the club in the January transfer window.

Arsenal defender Mathieu Debuchy has hinted that he could leave the club in the January transfer window.

The 30-year-old has spent the majority of the season on the bench, with Gunners boss Arsene Wenger preferring Hector Bellerin at right-back.

Debuchy has returned to the side in recent weeks with Bellerin sidelined due to a groin problem, although the France international has suggested that he is not happy with his lack of first-team action.

When asked about his lack of opportunities, Debuchy told Canal+: "I am dealing with it. I am trying to stay strong.

"We are going to remain concentrated until December, after that I will see."

Debuchy has played 19 times for Arsenal since joining from Newcastle United in the summer of 2014.
