Gareth Southgate recalls Chelsea midfielder Lewis Baker to his England Under-21s side one year after his last appearance for the Young Lions.

England Under-21s manager Gareth Southgate has recalled Chelsea midfielder Lewis Baker to the side, one year after his last appearance for the Young Lions.

Baker, who is currently playing on loan for Vitesse, last featured for the team in a European playoff against Croatia in October 2014.

Southgate has picked a 23-man squad for a Euro qualifier against Kazakhstan, which will be held on October 13 at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry.

The majority of players who performed in the side's wins over USA Under-23s and Norway last month have been selected in the latest squad.
