Danny Welbeck to miss Arsenal's Asia tour?

Danny Welbeck will reportedly miss Arsenal's pre-season tour of Asia after a setback in his recovery from a knee injury.

Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck will reportedly miss the club's pre-season tour of Asia after suffering a setback in his recovery from injury.

The England international missed the end of last term with a knee injury, but was initially expected to be back to fitness before pre-season.

However, Welbeck has seen his injury flare up once more, according to The Mirror, and the Gunners are now expecting the striker to return in time for the Emirates Cup at the end of the month.

Welbeck was signed for around £16m from Manchester United on transfer deadline day last September.
