Aaron Ramsey still has "an issue" with Stoke City defender Ryan Shawcross being called up for Wales, according to manager Chris Coleman.

Wales manager Chris Coleman has admitted that captain Aaron Ramsey still has "an issue" with Stoke City defender Ryan Shawcross's proposed call-up.

Ramsey suffered a double fracture of his right leg as a result of a tackle by the 24-year-old Potters man in February 2010.

Coleman said: "I've had a conversation with Aaron and it was positive but there is an issue there.

"I still haven't spoken to Ryan or [Stoke manager] Tony [Pulis] about it, but I will after the Bosnia game [on Wednesday]."

Shawcross was born in England but raised in Flintshire, North-East Wales.
