Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech expects more 'twists' in Premier League title race

Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech expects a "twist in the tale" after they dropped points in the race for the Premier League title.

Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech has predicted that there will be another "twist in the tale" in the hunt for the Premier League title.

The Gunners, who drew a blank against Southampton on Tuesday night, have gone four Premier League games without a victory.

Arsene Wenger's team have now dropped to fourth in the table and are five points behind leaders Leicester City.

Despite the recent slump, Cech is confident that his team will pick up a run of results.

"We had the position where we could only look at ourselves, but now we are behind and we need some of the results to go our way," The Mirror quotes Cech as saying.

"There's a long way to go and there is always a twist in the tale. So as long as we keep working hard, keep getting results and searching for points then there is a belief we can do it and there are more than enough points for us to put ourselves back on top of the league."

Arsenal's next game is away to Bournemouth on Sunday.
