Report: Jordan Henderson out of Arsenal clash

Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson reportedly fails a late fitness test ahead of Monday's Premier League clash at Arsenal.

Jordan Henderson has reportedly failed a late fitness test and will therefore miss Liverpool's trip to Arsenal in the Premier League on Monday evening.

The newly-promoted Reds skipper limped out of his team's 1-0 win over Bournemouth last Monday with a foot problem, but was due to be assessed before the clash at the Emirates.

According to various reports on Twitter, the central midfielder will miss out on a spot in the team, leaving Emre Can to come into the middle of the park.

The actual seriousness of the injury, however, has not yet been disclosed.

Liverpool have won both of their first two league games of the new campaign.
