Team News: Danny Welbeck returns for Arsenal in one of three changes

Arsene Wenger makes three changes to Arsenal's starting lineup for the make-or-break Champions League meeting against Monaco at the Stade Louis II.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has made three changes to his starting lineup for this evening's crunch Champions League last-16 second-leg tie against Monaco.

Danny Welbeck has been given the nod to partner Olivier Giroud up top, while Hector Bellerin and Santi Cazorla also return from last weekend's victory over West Ham United.

The Gunners trail 3-1 heading into the match at Wenger's old Stade Louis II hunting ground, needing to score at least three times if they are to seal their progression into the next round.

Bellerin is the only change made to the side from that first-leg loss three weeks ago, replacing Kieran Gibbs at full-back for the trip to the South of France.

In terms of the hosts, Leonardo Jardim has opted to make three alterations to the side in which picked up that famous victory in the reverse meeting, welcoming back captain Jeremy Toulalan in midfield along with Fabinho and Layvin Kurzawa.

Monaco XI: Subasic, Fabinho, Wallace, Abdennour, Kurzawa, Moutinho, Toulalan, Kondogbia, Dirar, Martial, Berbatov
Subs: Stekelenburg, Carvalho, Elderson, Toure, Matheus, Silva, Carrasco

Arsenal XI: Ospina, Bellerin, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Monreal, Coquelin, Cazorla, Welbeck, Ozil, Alexis Sanchez, Giroud
