The summer transfer window has now begun, with rumours and speculation continuing to swirl as Arsenal eye possible reinforcements.
The Gunners spent more than many expected last summer - most notably their club-record purchase of Nicolas Pepe - but were more reserved in January as they focused on bolstering their defensive options.
Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest news on possible comings and goings at the Emirates Stadium.
Friday morning's Arsenal transfer talk news roundup:
Mikel Arteta confirms Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos wants Arsenal move
Mikel Arteta has suggested that Arsenal are working on agreeing a new deal for Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos.
The Spaniard has recently returned to his parent club after starring for the Gunners during the back end of his season-long loan spell.
However, with the player's future at the Bernabeu currently uncertain, Arteta has acknowledged that the 24-year-old is open to returning to North London.
Speaking to reporters on Thursday, Arteta said: "Well, we have some talks and Dani knows really well what I think about him.
"He was pretty clear with me as well that his intention was to remain with us, but obviously Real Madrid is involved and I don't know yet what they want to do with the player.
"But he's a player that we are interested in because we really saw, in the last few months of the season, what he is capable of bringing to us."
Ceballos made a total of 37 appearances for Arsenal in all competitions during the most recent campaign.
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta hopeful of completing Gabriel Magalhaes deal
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is confident that a deal for Lille defender Gabriel Magalhaes will be wrapped up soon.
The highly-rated centre-back appears to be inching closer towards a £27m move to the Emirates Stadium, and Gabriel has reportedly undergone his medical ahead of his switch to the Premier League.
The Gunners are yet to formally announce the 22-year-old as an Arsenal player, but Arteta is confident that Gabriel's move will soon be completed prior to the new campaign.
"We cannot announce anything yet [with regards to Gabriel]. The deal is not finalised, he is a player we have followed for a long time. Hopefully we can get it done," Arteta told reporters.
"Everything is okay when both parties sign and the player agrees the terms and he goes through the medical. Sometimes in the final stages it is not as easy as it looks but we are pretty positive that we can do it.
"When we get it I will be very pleased. We are determined he has the right profile to improve our squad. If we are able to finalise it we will be delighted."
Arteta is also optimistic that club captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will commit his future to Arsenal, with the prolific forward out of contract at the Emirates next summer.
