Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala have confirmed the signing of Brazilian playmaker Willian from Shakhtar Donetsk for a fee believed to be in the region of €35m (£30m).
Willian has signed a "long-term" deal with the club and will start training on Saturday, according to Anzhi's official website.
Shakhtar also released a statement on their website regarding the deal, saying that they "thank Willian for the years spent at the club, for his goals and professionalism".
The 24-year-old, who joined the Ukrainian giants in 2007 from Corinthians, helped Shakhtar reach the knockout stages of the Champions League this season with some impressive performances.
Willian is the latest big-money signing for Anzhi, who hope to pair the forward with striker Samuel Eto'o.
