Jamie Carragher and Joe Cole start for Liverpool against Anzhi Makhachkala in their Europa League clash in Moscow tonight.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has put faith in youth for tonight's Europa League group stage clash with Anzhi Makhachkala in Moscow.

Jamie Carragher is the most experienced player in the Reds' starting XI, which also features Joe Cole.

The 31-year-old midfielder will support lone striker Adam Morgan, while Jonjo Shelvey, Jordan Henderson, Stewart Downing and Conor Coady complete a five-man midfield.

Meanwhile, there are no surprises for Guus Hiddink, who names Samuel Eto'o in attack.

Anzhi: Georgi Gabulov; Logashov, Samba, Joao Carlos, Tagirbekov; Ahmedov, Jucilei, Zhirkov; Eto'o, Boussoufa, Traore

Liverpool: Jones; Wisdom, Carragher, Coates, Flanagan; Shelvey, Henderson, Coady, Downing, Cole; Morgan
