Will Antwi, Chris Arther return to training

AFC Wimbledon pair Will Antwi and Chris Arther both return to first-team training.

AFC Wimbledon pair Will Antwi and Chris Arther have both returned to first-team training.

Antwi has not made a single appearance this season due to a serious hip problem, while Arther has not featured since suffering an ankle injury in October.

However, boss Neal Ardley has confirmed that the key pair have both stepped up their comebacks in the last week or so.

"Will has come through 10 days of training and that's a good start," Ardley told the club's official website.

"Obviously, he needs games to follow that up. Chris joined in training for the first time so that is a real positive. We have put programmes in place to try and step them both up and hopefully in January they will be like two new signings."

AFC Wimbledon currently sit 15th in League Two.
