Former AC Milan and Italy defender Alessandro Nesta has joined MLS side Montreal Impact.
The 36-year-old had been looking for a new club after he was released by the Rossoneri last month.
The terms of his deal have not been revealed but he will not be a Designated Player with the Impact.
"I'm very happy to be here," Nesta told the club's official website. "Despite some offers to continue my career in Europe, I was looking for a new challenge and wanted to play in MLS. I really liked what I saw and I was convinced Montreal was where I wanted to be."
Nesta has won a World Cup, two Champions Leagues and three Serie A titles during a glittering career.
