Fulham complete Urby Emanuelson deal

Fulham complete the loan signing of left-sided AC Milan player Urby Emanuelson.

Urby Emanuelson has left AC Milan to join Fulham until the end of the season.

The 26-year-old joins the Cottagers after falling out of favour at the San Siro.

Emanuelson, who has previously worked with Martin Jol at Ajax, has been capped 16 times by the Netherlands.

Ahead of the move on Wednesday, Jol told reporters: "Emanuelson is a midfield player who can play on the left and can play in the middle of the park and I thought it was necessary to bring in a couple of players to freshen up the team."

Emanuelson is expected to be available for Fulham's match with Manchester United on Saturday.
