Italy international Luca Antonelli has said that he is looking forward to returning to AC Milan.
The 27-year-old will join the Rossoneri on loan from Genoa for the remainder of the season, with an option to make the move permanent.
"I thank Genoa for this opportunity. I hope to do well, because I have truly come home," Antonelli told reporters.
"The only club that could make me change my mind on leaving Genoa was Milan and that proved to be the case.
"I am happy. I spoke to [Adriano] Galliani, but not [Filippo] Inzaghi yet. I feel great and can't wait to get started."
Antonelli came through the youth ranks at Milan before leaving the club for Parma in 2008.
